New bat, boots, jacket with a glow in the dark night crest took a 2nd mortgage on his mother’s block to extend the garage while the bank ok’s the loan for the truck.
Won’t wear a mask Batman don’t believe in them but he’s cut a bunch of chinese stars like boomerangs with spikes in the metal scraps he “found” in the backlot of the construction site where they fix Saint-Zotique Church into condos. They weren’t using the metal anyway. And if they were, it probably wasn’t to bust Crime.
Batman’s kept his job just in case, if the Crime business starts slow, but he figures comes summers’ end he’ll be ready to go full-time crime-fighter. Just give people some time to get to know his name. Sundays when it’s slow at the pumps Batman goes back home to buff the stars with compound. Stars shine can see his face in them. and in the plywood they just rip, the stars.
Batman he’s made an X on the week of the 12. The week of the 12 Crime’s gonna get it. No Karate crap no kung fu just good ol kick-in-the-face Me v Big Crime. After that everything’ll be OK. After the 12.
